Parking of Corporation of London Vehicles at Billingsgate Market - Conditional Permission Ref# PA/05/01362

Under the terms of the Conditional Permission referenced above, Boardwalk Place residents have been provided with a contact number in case a complaint arises from use permitted by the consent.  That number 020 7987-1118 is there for residents to call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The line will be manned by the Market General Office during office hours, and by the security gate outside of these times.

This is a provisional notification until vehicle parking begins, by which time we will be notified of a dedicated number or numbers for the on-site parking supervisors.

This information was provided by letter to Chainbow from the Corporation of London as at 23-December-2005.

Attn:  Residents

You are probably aware of Tower Hamlets letter regarding a planning appplication to put City of London Cleansing vehicles on Billingsgate car park.  Karen Page, the lady dealing with this planning application, has sent a notice to all residents on the matter, and your rights to object are stated.

Additionally, they accept that there are problems with the Tower Hamlets planning enquiry page which should be fixed shortly.  The application number to search on is PA/05/01362.

Chainbow & the Board of Directors encourage you to exercise your rights and object to this proposal.

Follow hotlinks to the "Tower Hamlets letter" and a draft "Letter of Objection" that you should at least read if not use to object. (The draft is courtesy of a fellow resident)

Best regards

Roger Southam
